The Tingo Team is based in Boston, where we were slammed with a super snowy winter! Things are finally starting to warm up, and spring travel is on the agenda. We've had plenty of snow days to spend researching our next vacation, and here are our top three destinations for spring travel:
Washington, D.C. is one of the most beautiful locations in the springtime as the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. The annual display marks the start of spring in D.C., along with loads of outdoor events and festivals. Local restaurants take part in the Cherry Picks program, which brings the cherry blossom theme to the dinner table with spring-inspired food and beverages. Orlando is a great spring-travel destination, though maybe not during school vacation weeks when Disney and other theme parks are super crowded. If you go at the right time, however, Orlando is a warm-weather location with access to some of the world's best amusement parks—all with ever-expanding attractions listings—as well as two Florida coastlines perfect for sandy getaways. San Francisco, California
Our West Coast spring-travel pick is San Francisco, a city home to picture-perfect scenery, great eats, an awesome art scene, cool architecture and a whole lot more. You can beat the tourist crowds by visiting in the spring, which is also when hotel prices are a bit lower. Check out San Francisco hotels on Tingo here.
